Important information regarding transport in hot conditions
Many of the products at mylollies.com.au are sensitive to heat and can become affected by being exposed to temperature outside of their desired range. Most commonly this refers to chocolate but it also affects all sour products and gummi bears. While the sours and gummi bears will lose their shape and consistency in heat the chocolate product will bloom.
Blooming refers to a process where the cocoa butter seperates out of the chocolate under heat and then once the chocolate cools settles on the surface. This gives a white mottled appearance to the chocolate.
Please be aware that mylollies.com.au ships all products using AusPost and is only responsible for the condition of the products leaving the factory. If at all possible choose to have your chocolate products shipped during cooler days or choose a courier that will ship them via a temperature controlled method.
