In June of this year three lolly men and a friend (everyone else was too scared) will attempt to walk 100km in less than 48 hours as part of the Brisbane Oxfam Trailwalker event. Winding through the hills of the D’Aguilar National Park this challenging course is a true test of endurance, as ordinary blokes with questionable fitness we sometimes wonder exactly why this seems a good idea.
What are we trying to achieve?
Our main goal is to raise $10,000 for the amazing causes Oxfam support, you can learn more about the difference donors make here. As people who sell lollies in Australia we feel pretty blessed so we are contributing time and significant company resources to this amazing cause.
How can you help us in our fight against poverty?
This is the best bit, to help us fundraise all you have to do is eat lollies! Simply buy our Tropix branded lollies and 100% from the purchase of any Tropix bags will help us raise the money to meet our lofty target. Our amazing suppliers have contributed lollies to help us out, we have packaged them up and will absorb all costs associated with dispatch to make sure all funds raised go straight to Oxfam. If you would like to donate directly to our cause or read a little more about the pain we are putting ourselves through you can visit our official Trailwalker team page!
